Testimonials

A scenic view of mountains under a clear blue sky, with green valleys and a serene lake in the foreground.

Martha Williams is not only an accomplished Spinning instructor but also an  incredibly talented artist and a passionate advocate for social justice. I believe Pedal  Works Café will be truly a one-of-a-kind destination that is sure to be a hit in the  community. As a Spinning instructor, Martha has a unique ability to motivate and  inspire her riders to reach their fitness goals. But it's not just about the physical  aspect of fitness - she also emphasizes the importance of mental strength and self care, making her classes a truly holistic experience. In addition to her fitness  expertise, Martha’s artistic talent is truly remarkable. Her artwork is beautiful and  thought-provoking, and I'm sure it will be a wonderful addition to the studio. I can't  wait to see her creations on display and perhaps even take one home! I'm also  impressed by Martha’s commitment to supporting black communities and female  empowerment. It's inspiring to see someone use their platform to make a positive  impact on the world, and I have no doubt that her efforts will have a ripple effect in  the community.  Karen, Kingston lululemon run club member

I had the pleasure of working with Martha for a few years when she was the manager of a lululemon store, and I was a part of the ambassador program. Martha provided a supportive environment and made me feel welcome immediately. I will always remember the effort Martha made to experience and take interest in my offerings. She has a great ability to foster community relationships and is a natural leader!

Pedal Works Café will be a unique business to Kingston. I think combining a café space with spin, yoga and a gallery is such a fantastic idea for so many reasons. It will be a destination place in Kingston, while also being a regular place to visit for coffee and time socializing with others. This is the type of place that will end up creating a community of like-minded people centred on wellness and art. I look forward to being a guest yoga teacher here. Something I most look forward to is having the café because often people want to hang out after classes so having somewhere we can have coffee and stay a while will be nice and appealing for folks. I have been a yoga teacher in Kingston for 10 years and I can't wait for our community to have something like this!
